Contour SliderMouse Pro

Today, computers have replaced traditional machines and tasks, and mice have become the essential control device. However, they are rarely designed with the user in mind, but rather with the computer—which can lead to biomechanical strain and affect our health. In fact, using them creates all the factors that contribute to the onset of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs): prolonged static muscle strain, repetitive movements, muscle tension, nerve compression, and so on.

The SliderMouse Pro is a central pointing device that allows you to perform your office work in comfortable, ergonomic positions. The control bar, with its intuitive mechanism built into the top of the SliderMouse Pro, makes it easy to navigate the cursor across the screen. It allows your hands to rest comfortably across the entire width of the mouse, thereby reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

To better understand the difference between a center pointer and a vertical mouse, check out our dedicated advice sheet , “Ergonomic Mouse vs. Center Pointer: Which One Should You Choose?

When used in conjunction with the SliderMouse Pro, other tools can help reduce the risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace. For more information, see our advice sheet: Office Ergonomics: What Tools Should You Use to Prevent MSDs?
