Pro 959 Footrest
The Pro 959 footrest is undoubtedly the most functional and high-performance model in our footrest lineup.
Thanks to its large platform (compliant with DIN 4556), it provides truly stable support for the feet and allows the user to settle into a comfortable position.
Its ergonomic innovation is an adjustment mechanism that can be easily operated with just one foot, thanks to the orange “button” located in the center of the platform. Furthermore, it offers the widest adjustment range in our lineup (up to 37 cm!), making it suitable for use by multiple operators and ideal for high workstations.
Finally, the Pro 959 footrest is entirely manufactured in the Netherlands and extremely sturdy, which is why it’s equally well-suited for workstations in both industrial and service sectors (checkout counters, reception desks, etc.). Its more compact version, the Pro 952, is ideal for tighter spaces.

DIN 4556 Standard
European Directive 90/270 of the EU stipulates that, if necessary, a footrest must be installed. The footrest must be at least 45 cm wide and 35 cm deep (DIN 4556). The adjustment range must be at least 11 cm, measured from the floor. The angle of the footrest surface must be adjustable within a range of at least 5 to 15 degrees inclusive.
Why use a footrest?
Foot positioning is also an important factor to consider for maintaining a healthy, balanced posture. When sitting, it’s important to make sure your feet rest naturally flat on the floor, which not only provides better support but also promotes blood circulation. If your desk isn’t height-adjustable and is too high or too low relative to your sitting position, using an adjustable footrest can be helpful. It promotes a relaxed and balanced posture, thereby compensating for the mismatch in seating height.
