Contour Unimouse Ergonomic Vertical Mouse

The Contour Unimouse ergonomic mouse provides users with a high level of comfort and helps them improve their concentration and efficiency. Its vertical angle, adjustable from 35° to 70°, and its articulated thumb rest—which can be adjusted along three axes (extension, rotation, and length)—make it a tool that is perfectly suited to every user, regardless of the shape or size of their hand.

Users can effortlessly adjust the position of their hand on the mouse, thereby avoiding prolonged static postures that are harmful to their health. With 6 programmable buttons and 10 cursor sensitivity levels (from 800 to 2,800 dpi), the Unimouse is highly customizable.

Ergonomic mice, such as the Unimouse, are among the tools you should use to prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace. They allow you to reposition your hand, wrist, and arm in a more natural position than when using a conventional mouse. This helps prevent hand tension and wrist compression, which can lead to MSDs such as carpal tunnel syndrome or tendinitis.

Usage

Vertical mice help restore an “ergonomic” wrist position while working on a computer and reduce discomfort and pain in the wrist and elbow. Their vertical design aligns the hand with the arm, thereby significantly reducing pressure on the radius and relieving compression on the wrist.

Benefits of the Vertical Mouse
15% of women and 11% of men aged 20 to 59 suffer from at least one of the major musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) of the upper extremities. Carpal tunnel syndrome, in particular, affects nearly 600,000 people in France, 130,000 of whom require surgery. Using a vertical mouse improves the ergonomics of the computer workstation by relieving pain associated with MSDs and preventing their onset. When using it, the user no longer makes the tense, strained movements often associated with a standard mouse and can therefore perform tasks without pain or fatigue.
